New Delhi/Beijing : Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri began his official visit to China on Monday with a meeting with H.E. Sun Haiyan, Vice Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to advance the implementation of the guidance provided by the leaders of the two countries to strengthen bilateral relations. They also reviewed issues of mutual priority and explored measures to enhance political engagement, people-to-people contacts, academic cooperation, and exchanges between think tanks.
The discussions reaffirmed the commitment of both countries to maintaining dialogue and expanding cooperation across multiple sectors to further strengthen India-China relations.
